Cold sitz bath (or hip bath)

Fill a sitz bath with suffiecient cold water so that when you sit in it, the water reaches your belly button (umbilicus). Sit in the bath for 3 minutes maximum, while hanging your legs over the side. Rub yourself dry vigorously with a large, warm towel and go straight to bed.

Caution: Women should not take a cold sitz bath while menstruating. In the acute stage of a bladder infection a cold sitz bath will not be beneficial.

Ovarian Tumour

Ovarian tumours can be quite large, the size of a grapefruit in some cases. It is a strange coincidence in my opinion that a number of women with ovarian tumours have a strong desire to conceive. Perhaps in these cases the body responds by producing a phantom baby. If you are in this situation, may I suggest that you find ways to legitimately hug and cuddle children so that your motherly instincts are fulfilled.

If you suspect an ovarian tumour, always seek professional advice. A common remedy that may help is to take a cold sitz bath for 3 minutes every night before going to bed. Rub yourself thoroughly dry to increase the circulation to all the pelvic organs.
