Did you know?
Cider vinegar is a universal presewative and a general pulpose remedy. When vinegar is made from fresh natural apples it contains a healthy dose of pectin. As pectin works its way through the digestive system, cholesterol becomes bound to it and is then eliminated from the body. Less cholesterol in the body reduces the risk of cardiovascular problems, heart attacks and strokes.
Taken internally, by drinking 3 teaspoons with I tablespoon honey in a cup of hot water 1-3 times a day,
Cider vinegar can:
fight germs generally
balance alkalinity and acidity
cut grease
relieve pain of varicose veins
disperse headaches
kill infection
soothe sore throats
control the appetite (helpful for weight loss)
minimize memory loss
eliminate calcium deposits (useful for people suffering from gout and arthritis)
For skin troubles, to fade age spots and to treat eczema, put 1 cup of cider vinegar, together with Epsom salts or mustard bath salts, in your bath.
Caution
Cider or fermented apple juice can suppress the bloods abllity to dissolve clots, which means that it may clot more easily. Fresh apple juice by contrast does not have this effect.
